HiCy, rebooting Steph

HiCy Journey

Hello again,
I've been taking my LDN at 4.5 mg for awhile now.  Everything is still good.  I also take vitamin B12, and Serrapeptase.  These help with energy and Serrapeptase gets rid of scar tissue inside your body and uncloggs your veins.

The real news is that I have started a new career in Real Estate!  Thought I'd never work again, but I was wrong!  I am venturing out and seeing if I can make a difference in peoples lives by giving them an amazing experience when buying or selling their homes.  We shall see.

My MS seems to be under control still.  I do have occasional symptoms.  I know it's still there, but it doesn't stop me, like it use too.  Just wanted to update.  Hope everyone is having a blessed year!

Here's something crazy!  I haven't posted in over 2 years!  Well, I'm still plugging along with no attacks to date (knock on wood).  I take LDN now, I was getting occasional spins.  Low Dose Naltrexone works great for me.

I have to say, when it comes to my health, I'm a control freak.  I went to my general practitioner, and asked to get LDN prescribed, so they could keep track of what I was doing.  I told her I could buy it on the Internet, and dilute it myself, but would rather have the compounding pharmacy do it for me.  She said she would if my neurologist okayed it.  He wanted me to start at 4.5mg....NO!  This sets you up for failure if you want to try this med.!  It causes wierd dreams, some times nightmares, I just found the dreams freaky!!  Plus your body needs to get use to it because it also makes you sleepy.

If you want to try this, I recommend having it compounded with acidophilus at a 1.5 mg dose.  After a week on 1.5mg, start taking 2 capsules, which is 3.0mg.  If your still feeling aches and spins, up to the 4.5 after another week.  This is the top dose.  Many people take 4.5 on a daily basis.  I take 3.0, because 4.5 made me stiff in the joints and fatigued in the day.  Take it just before bed.  Between 9 and midnight.

Google LDN forum to get info from the LDN pro boards .  It's a great forum!  So, I'm also taking a new drug to gain weight. That's on my other blog.  Hopefully after gaining a few pounds (20lbs. Is my goal.). I'll be able to work out and get stronger.  Hope this info helps someone.  Remember to fight!  Smile often, and never give up!  God is watching over you, make him proud!

January 2011

Hi people!  I am here today to redirect traffic, that way people with questions can get to me!  I am on face book.  Send me a friends request and question.  Stephanie Radomski.

I am doing great and ran a fun run for my church today.  1/3 of a mile, but after not running for 10+ years...it was a victory!  I ran the whole way!

I will continue to work out and build my strength.  I have so much to be thankful for and feel the Chemo treatment gave me a new lease on life!  Looking forward to a bright 2011!

Still working things out.

Have been busy with everyday life lately.  I have been involved with the youth ministries at my church.  I have been working out when possible and playing brain games on my computer.  We will see in a few weeks, if things are actually getting better.  I have a MRI appointment Monday and will take that along with some blood test results to Chicago.  Then they will check all of that, plus re evaluate my cognitive skills and do some strength tests.

I think I'm getting better everyday.  I still have healing to do, but in time, I think I'll be better than before.  I don't have the pain I had before, so just that alone is better.  Hope to keep moving and progressing as time goes on.

Just thought I'd update and let everyone know I'm still doing great!

Times, they are a changing!

Went to RUSH for my 3 month check up!  I am so much better than before the HiCy!  My Doctor was in shock!  He had to look at my file, because he thought I was 6 months out and I'm only 3!  He can't wait to see me at 6 months!  I didn't realize I was so impressive!

I will continue to do yoga and work out.  I see my Physical Training  person next Tuesday.  I can't wait to start correcting my walk!  I'm excited to get back to me again!  Yea!!!!

This has been an awesome journey!  Tough for the first month and then thing start moving forward at a rapid pace!  I am so happy I did this!  Thank you Jesus for letting this all come about!  I am truly changed and extremely grateful!

Will let you know how all my December tests come out.  Will have an MRI and all those cognitive tests again!  I say, BRING IT!  WooHoo!
